“Journey House truly changed my life. The supportive environment and professional guidance helped me overcome my struggles and explore my path to a better me.”

— Walter R.

“I began my life journey in a toxic environment full of emotional, mental, physical and sexual abuse. At an incredibly early age I reserved the thought that there was not any light in this world, and I started to believe that my only escape would be death. I started to self-inflict harm to myself in the hope that I would end my suffering. At that time of pain and confusion she showed me the kindness and love that I had not experienced. She was not much older than me and yet she carried a light within her that spoke to me to let my guard down.”

— Laverne C.
